THRIVE POSTER

This was my entry for the Siggraph SpaceTime 2019 "Thrive" student poster competition. When I was presented with the word "thrive", a few things immediately came to mind: plants and growth. I wanted to depict the feeling of looking up into the trees while using the negative spaces in the tree lines in a creative way. I also wanted to depict the sunlight coming through the leaves not only to emphasize the trees’ need of sunlight to thrive, but also to encourage the viewer to grow and thrive beyond the treetops. The poster ended up being selected along with forty other entries that were displayed on the Spacetime website and at the 2019 Siggraph conference in Los Angeles.
